Licensed Minister And Mentor

I am Rev. Tahir Cowans, a native of Mobile, AL, where my journey began teaching Sunday school at 15. I was licensed to preach in 2003 under Dr. Walter Bracy and have since served as College Minister at Saint Luke C.M.E United Methodist Church and now as an Associate Minister at St. Paul Baptist Church in LaGrange, GA, under Pastor Desmond Scaife.

I hold a B.A. in Psychology (Auburn University), an MBA in Healthcare Management (University of Phoenix), and both a Master of Arts in Ministry and a Master of Divinity (Luther Rice College & Seminary). I am currently pursuing licensure in Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University.

I also serve as a Life Group Leader at The Way Community Church in Conyers, GA, mentoring believers in spiritual formation, discipleship, and emotional health under Dr. Darrell E. Hall. I am married to Dr. Lauren Graham Cowans, and we live in Lilburn, GA, with our dog Paisley.
